I needed to replace a 34" gas cook top and panicked when I discovered that this was no longer a common size. My choice was pretty well narrowed down to this one unit. What a lucky find! It is VERY well made and the burners go from small to commercial hot. It looks and works like high-end commercial equipment. I think Bertazzoni also makes a 36" unit. I now have 2 of these installed on my island and am totally happy with this purchase. I should add that I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this unit as I didn't know the brand or the Amazon marketplace vendor. The order was handled very well and the vendor promptly answered my questions and shipped as promised. If you check the price against the run of the mill cook tops you will be most pleased.
